Doing Our Part

It’s becoming more and more important to be an eco-friendly business. This is nothing new for us, Inseason has always endeavoured to be environmentally friendly and minimise our carbon footprint. Being in the food industry, it’s so important not to waste food when avoidable. We use 100% of our produce. Our premium fruit and vegetables are supplied to our customers, while the surplus is donated to SecondBite, an organisation we’ve talked about before. Our green organic waste is collected for composting and other organic solutions.

We’ve been working with Write Solutions in better helping to manage our waste and build business value from sustainability. This includes increasingly using less plastic in our packing orders and actively investigating alternative packaging materials. We of course also have various recycling solutions for example our cardboard is bundled and shipped off for recycling.

We at InSeason believe in the importance of building a eco-eco-friendly business model that is not only sustainable but effective in reducing our waste.
